‘Tea and Talk’ fundraising for the Mental Health Foundation

Our Guildford and Lombard Street, London offices held ‘Tea and Talk’ events in aid of the Mental Health Foundation. The fundraising took place around World Mental Health Day, and over £370 was raised for the charity.

Staff baked a variety of sweet and savoury treats, and as well as selling an array of delicious refreshments there were other initiatives to raise much needed funds for the Mental Health Foundation. At our Guildford Head Office, there were three competitions including a ‘Balloon Pop’, Anagram and Guess-tea-mate, with many employees taking part.

In the Lombard Street office, a ‘taste test’ took place to determine the best home baked item, and a ‘guess the sweeties in the jar’ competition was held, which attracted many entries. Everyone in both offices was very supportive, and we were delighted to raise funds for the Mental Health Foundation.

The Stackhouse Poland Group has a proud history of encouraging its employees to support charities in the communities in which it operates, in addition to supporting national charitable organisations. In 2018, we were pleased to outline the evolution of our charitable giving with the launch of the Stackhouse Poland Charity Foundation. The Charity Foundation is led by a team of company representatives, and chaired by Jeremy Cary, Group Chairman.

The Mental Health Foundation is dedicated to finding and addressing the sources of mental health problems. Their mission is to help people understand, protect and sustain their mental health. Tea and Talk is the charity’s national fundraising initiative, which takes place on or around World Mental Health Day each year.
