We will be running a Stackhouse Poland Charity Foundation Day on 9 November, with fundraising events taking place across our network of offices. We will be supporting an insurance sector initiative, Insurance United Against Dementia.
Insurance United Against Dementia is an Alzheimer’s Society movement supported by organisations from across the insurance industry, and has already raised in excess of £100,000 this year to fund vital research. The movement hopes to raise £10 million in total, and is committed to transforming the lives of people affected by dementia.
Employees from our 19 offices are hosting a variety of events in support of the charity, and we are delighted to be part of this initiative. The Stackhouse Poland Group has a proud history of encouraging its employees to support both national and local charities, and every office has a charity representative.
In 2018, we launched the Stackhouse Poland Charity Foundation, led by a team of company representatives and chaired by Jeremy Cary, Group Chairman. The Foundation was established to effectively coordinate and manage the distribution of funds to charitable organisations. The Foundation operates a ‘matching scheme’ to support the fundraising efforts of staff, and oversees charitable giving across the company.
