General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on the 25th May 2018 and will entirely replace the current Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA), bringing a major overhaul of existing data protection rules.
We are hosting a ‘lunch and learn’ workshop in Guildford on Thursday 11 January to discuss GDPR, and the impact on your organisation. The session is free to attend, and will take place between 12.30 – 14.00 at our offices in Bridge Street.
Our expert speaker, Andrew Culshaw, is a Director of GDPR360 Limited, which supports organisations with their preparations for the General Data Protection Regulation. These will apply to all organisations including businesses, charities and the education sector.
Andrew will provide an overview of the regulations, and offer practical advice on the steps that need to be undertaken between now and May. Prior to joining GDPR360 Andrew enjoyed a successful career in the financial sector including senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group and Barclays.
Please note there are limited places available. If you’re unable to attend this event, but would like to be added to our mailing list for future events, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
