Exeter office supports Devon Air Ambulance Trust

Our Exeter office is a long-standing supporter of the Devon Air Ambulance Trust, and recently donated £1,000 to the charity.

Tom Jones visited the Devon Air Ambulance base in Exeter, and presented the cheque on behalf of Stackhouse Poland. Tom is featured in the summer edition of ‘Helipad’, the magazine produced by the Devon Air Ambulance Trust – click here to see the article on page 42.

The Devon Air Ambulance Trust has flown over 26,000 helicopter missions to date. The charity operates two helicopters and works in partnership with the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust to provide a rapid response across the county. In 2017, it cost £6.4 million to run the service, so support from individuals and local organisations is vital.

Stackhouse Poland is a keen supporter of charities at both a local and national level. Through the Stackhouse Poland Charity Foundation, we fundraise for our charity of the year, which is nominated by our staff, and provide grants to support fundraising efforts by our employees. Staff are also encouraged to take a day’s additional paid leave to engage in voluntary work.
