A new business-networking group, ‘Bucks Bizz’ has launched in High Wycombe. The group has a strong community ethic, and is focused on creating business opportunities, as well as giving time and funding to a local charity, selected each year.
Teniel Haslam, Commercial Account Executive at Stackhouse Poland, and first chairwoman of the group said, “We’re here to support local business leaders who are keen to grow, and mutually benefit from business referrals and learning, all in a very welcoming, supportive and ‘human’ environment”.
Local businesses attending the group include lawyers, accountants, book-keeping, finance and mortgage advice, Health and safety training, business growth, architects, software developers, web designers, event venues, garden rooms, marketing design, utilities, banking, and caterers.
The group has chosen Thames Valley Air Ambulance as the charity they will be supporting for the first year. Bekki James from Thames Valley Air Ambulance, said, “The local business community play a vital part in supporting the work of Thames Valley Air Ambulance, whether that be raising awareness, giving their professional support or good old fundraising fun. Partnering with Bucks Bizz Networking gives us the opportunity to increase our profile with businesses that we are not currently connected with for our mutual benefit. It is an exciting chance for us to be the first chosen charity of this new networking group.”
The group meets weekly on Thursday mornings 9.30 am to 11.30 am.
