Jeremy is a Founding Director and equity partner of Stackhouse Poland. Having led the business as CEO for 14 years he took on the Exec Chairman role in 2015. In addition to looking after a number of key client relationships both private client & commercial, he is responsible for the Stackhouse Poland acquisition programme and is the ultimate ‘Cultural Guardian’ for the Group.

Tim has been in the industry for almost 30 years, beginning as a graduate trainee straight out of University. He held a number of senior positions in both International and large UK broking houses, including CEO roles in Aon Affinity, Towergate Underwriting, CCV and Paymentshield, before reuniting with old colleagues Jeremy Cary and James Agnew as part of Stackhouse Poland’s 2014 MBO. He has significant experience in the M&A arena, having led on over 50 acquisitions in the past decade.

Founder & Director
James is a Director and equity partner of Stackhouse Poland and heads up Stackhouse Poland Private Office. James is also a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and has advised the very wealthy in respect of their personal insurance requirements for over 20 years. He takes a very hands-on approach for the benefit of clients and is passionate about “doing the right thing “ for clients and providing the very highest levels of service.
Loves: Italian Braccos, surfing in Devon and card tricks
Dislikes: Poor service, Lateness, Day time TV.
Iain is a board member and joined Stackhouse Poland in 2016 as its COO. He has primary responsibility for Finance and IT and having managed in excess of thirty transactions is heavily involved in the M&A activity of the group. Prior to joining Stackhouse Poland Iain held CFO and COO roles for private equity backed businesses and funds helping them through their growth and financing requirements.

Robin began his career in the early 1970s as a Trainee Broker with Cooper Gay and went on to become a Lloyd’s Reinsurance Broker with PWS. He founded Lucas Fettes with David Fettes in 1980. The business grew from one site and six staff to nine offices throughout the UK, employing over 200 people and with specialisms in a range of areas. Lucas Fettes & Partners was acquired by Stackhouse Poland in 2017, and Robin was appointed to the Board.

Managing Director of Commercial
Oliver heads up the Commercial Division at Stackhouse Poland and is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. Oliver joined the insurance broking sector after graduating university in 2007, bringing his passion for client service and people development. Oliver also looks after a number of major corporate clients, mainly in the Media and Financial Institution sector.
Likes: swimming, running, cycling, cooking, Monty (his dog), a challenge
Dislikes: bland food, cold water, headwinds
Managing Director of Private Clients
Andrew is the Head of Private Clients and is accountable and responsible for the day to day running of this division within the Group. Andrew has spent the last 15 years in personal lines insurance and was latterly responsible for the sales and distribution across Northern Europe, Middle East and Asia for AXA Art.
Loves: Running around after his 3 boys, golf, tennis & squash
Dislikes: People walking slowly on the pavement.
Managing Director of Specialty
Hugo has enjoyed 35 years in the insurance industry, predominantly in the Lloyd’s and London market but, also with several years based in the North West of England. During this time he has been involved in the development and placing of most classes of insurance in the UK and internationally. Hugo joined Stackhouse Poland following the acquisition of Lucas Fettes & Partners in 2018.
Loves: The countryside, Green & Black butterscotch chocolate, dachshunds, wine (all origin and varieties)
Dislikes: Stilton, mediocrity, Italian waiters, ‘mañana’
Managing Director of Health and Protection
Marcia, originally a pharmacist, has been involved with the business of health for over three decades. Prior to joining Stackhouse Poland in 2010, Marcia held senior roles including National Account Manager for Bupa UK, Head of Corporate Sales at Simply Health and Director of Corporate Consulting at Lorica. In 2008, Marcia was named as one of the top 50 most influential advisers in the UK by Health Insurance Magazine. Marcia is a Prince 2 Practitioner, a member of the Institute of Directors Policy Voice Committee and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Likes: Twitter, long weekend lunches, watching football and cricket, drinking peach bellinis with her grown up daughter
Dislikes: Phrases like “with the greatest of respect and I hear what you are saying” which mean the exact opposite!
Managing Director of Real Estate
Jon has been in the industry for 30 years and started his career with Cornhill Insurance as a trainee underwriter. He has spent the last 16 years with Lucas Fettes & Partners specialising in the Real Estate sector. Jon joined Stackhouse Poland following the acquisition of Lucas Fettes & Partners in 2017 and heads up our newly established Real Estate Division.
Likes: Spending time with his friends and family, following Chelsea and watching Rugby(particularly the Welsh national team)

Group Insurance Placement Director
Steve is responsible for the Group’s broking activities and insurer relationship management. Steve has in excess of twenty years experience in the insurance broking sector and is passionate about looking after clients and delivering first-rate advice and service. He looks after a number of major corporate clients including both UK and global businesses. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Head of Group HR
Kim is the Director of Human Resources for Stackhouse Poland and joined the company in the late summer of 2017. Kim has overall responsibility for our People Agenda and brings considerable experience having been in HR for 30 years; she has worked in financial services for the majority of her career with large international organisations across a wide spectrum of business initiatives.

Business Integration Director
Stackhouse Poland is an acquisitive group and David is responsible for integrating all acquisitions into the group ethos and modus operandi. Our aim is to ensure the new skills and niche specialties we bring in with each acquisition are made seamlessly available to all our clients. David has 30+ years’ experience in the insurance industry and has held senior line, and change management and roles in two of the UK’s largest insurance brokers.
Likes: Hiking, Africa, the grandchildren (most of the time), Manchester City.
Dislikes: Unsolicited calls, social media, bad wine, fast food.
Head of Risk, Compliance and Operations
Hannah has a commercial insurance background with over 17 years broking experience, which gives her a unique take on how risk and compliance should function. She is one of the original members of Stackhouse Poland she has been with the business for 15 years and is Certified by the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Loves: spending time with her husband and son George, anything arty and singing at every available opportunity!
Dislikes: being disorganised, rudeness and cottage cheese!
